« am: 25.November 2003, 16:26:35 »

Eiegtnlich hieß es ja, das Ding soll im Herbst rauskommen, aber das war wohl nix (oder denken die Macher dank der Temperaturen, dass es erst Frühling ist?!)...wer weiß da was aktuelles?

Guckst Du hier

Before posting a question regarding the game it would be adviseable that you check back in this thread and see if it has already been answered. I'll work at keeping it up to date as more regular questions arise.

When is the Release Date?

The game is scheduled to be released in Q1 2004.

Will it be available in my country?

The distribution/publishing situation is still under negotiation and as that issue resolves itself and the game gets closer to release, availability will be announced.

Will real team and player names be used in the game?

SI are working on the legal ramifications of this and will announce things as deals are struck or passed over.

Will my favourite league be in the game?

At this stage it is safe to say that most major professional hockey leagues will appear in the game, but for the time being the actual list cannot be confirmed.

Who does the research? How do I become a researcher?

SI are in the process of recruiting a variety of researchers, please go to the following thread and apply if you wish to participate.

Research Application Thread

Will EHM:FE be available for my OS?

At this point it is safe to assume that EHM:FE will appear on most current versions of Windows, but until the release date gets closer, exact versions cannot be specified. A version of EHM:FE for the Mac is also very likely as is the precedent for SI releases (check back closer to release date for Mac OS specifics). Linux will probably not be directly supported, although WINE and other emulators are available if you wish to try those on your own.

Is EHM:FE based on the EHM freeware version?

No, EHM:FE is built atop a customised version of the Championship Manager 3 (CM3) engine. For more information on CM3, check out the SI Games website under softography.

Will there be an official editor?

It is too early to tell yet whether the development team will have time to build an official editor, however using the Championship Manager series as a guide, the user community may produce some tools in due course.

When is the demo going to be released?

As with all SI Games, a demo is usually released a few weeks prior to the title's retail release. As the release date gets close, check back for more details.

Will the game have Feature X in it?

The game is still in development and closer to the release date a more detailed feature list will become available. If you have comments or suggestions, search the thread (to see if your idea has been discussed before) and if not, raise it in the forum.

Are there any screenshots?

Yes, there are some screenshots, but bear in mind these are very early development shots and things are likely to change substantially. As more become available they will be posted on the SI Games site.

How can I be a tester?

SI are now beginning the hunt for people to do internal testing of EHM:FE. You need to be able to commute daily to their offices to be eligible. For more information Read Joe's Thread on Testing!

Will SI's decision to part company impact EHM:FE?

No, that business decision impacts the Championship Manager series only. SI will be announcing a publisher for EHM:FE in the coming weeks.
