All over the scene, sites are asking for ideas for the game and CM Fans are producing screenshots of what CM4 could look like when it is released. The Estimated release launch is October 2002 which even though it seems a long time away will be upon us in no time. Here is some of the rumours and rough details which have been picked up in some way, shape or form.
The game will be released on the PC and X-Box. It may also be released on the Playstation 2 but would require an upgrade to the PS2 if it was to be released.
There will be no 3D Match Engine, although Sports Interactive have released some information on their message board that they are writing up a Top Down View from scratch but have no confirmed that it will deffinetly feature in the finished game.
The layout will be changed, Marc Vaughan announced on the SI Chat a few months ago that the current menubars will be not be useable on CM4, so that confirms they are working on a new look to the game.
The game will be playable on the internet on both the PC and X-Box. On the SI Chat, Marc Vaughan said it will be able to be played on a 33k modem so that also means you wont need an expensive internet connection just to enjoy it.
Player Agents will be in the game.
Sports Interactive has said that most current features will be improved, from training to media interaction.
