Going on holiday for one month - 17 min.
- CM 03/04 (small database, English Premier Division only)

Going on holiday for one month - 4 min.
- CM 03/04 (medium database, 2 divisions: First English Division and above)

I started each game in English Premier League with Southampton without checking full details option, and my computer specs are as follows: Athlon XP 1800, 256 DDR RAM, ATA100 7000 RPM HD.
So my conclusion is:
1. CM 4 is 2,5 faster with the same settings. Maybe something gone wrong not only with large DB (yes, I tested it too, but game becomes simply unplayable), but also with medium?
2. Both number of leagues and size of DB matter.
3. Number of divisions is not that important if they are in one league (compare second test to the last one).
4. Calculating match results in CM4 and CM 03/04 takes roughly the same time. And I don't thinks slowdown has something to do with increase in transfer activity.
I read some comments above about the game speeding up in September, but still the difference in speed between two games on the same engine is 2,5. That's strange, isn't it? I want to play CM with med. DB, 5 leagues, 6 divisions - and I think it's quite reasonable. But waiting 1 minute a day is too much, really.
